If you enjoy having a a drink every so often, keep your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your purse, your wallet, and keep all money, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Pack only the cash you expect to spend on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you expect to burn and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You can experience a success following a drunken evening out with your comrades and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long roll at a hot craps table. Keep that story because it is as brief as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. The two just do not mix.
Leaving your money out of the casino is a little drastic, but precautionary actions for excessive actions is necessary. If you gamble to profit, then don’t consume alcohol and play. If you can afford to be wasteful with your money without a concern, then drink all the free alcohol your stomach can handle, but don’t take charge cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your dead drunk brain throws away all the cash!
Allow me to take this 1 step more. do not drink alcohol and then hop on to the internet to play in your favorite casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, however seeing that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.
Why? Even though I do not drink to excess, once I consume alcohol, it is clearly enough to befuddle my judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and crazy, drink.
