If you enjoy having a a beer from time to time, keep your money at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your wallet, and leave all cash, charge cards and checkbooks out of the casino. Pack whatever money you intend to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you intend to squander and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You might experience a profit following a drunken night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute roll at a hot craps game. Hang on to that adventure because it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and bet. These activities just don’t go well together.
Keeping your moolah out of the casino might be a tiny bit dramatic, but preventative measures for drastic actions is a requirement. If you play to profit, then do not drink and play. If you like to blow your cash nary a worry, then drink all the gratuitous booze your stomach can handle, but do not carry charge cards and cheques to throw into the mix of going after losses after your bombed brain throws away everything!
Allow me to carry this one step more. do not drink alcohol and then go on the internet to bet in your favorite internet casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my abode, however since I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and wager.
How come? Even though I don’t consume alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is clearly enough to befuddle my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not bet at the same time. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and costly, cocktail.
